How do I apply for more than one vacancy on lawrecruiter?
There will be times you will want to send the same CV to more than one job at a time. You can only do this through the 'Job Basket' page.
Lawrecruiter allows you to collect jobs in the 'Job Basket'. For each vacancy there is a check box called 'Multi apply'. By selecting the 'Multi apply' option next to each job you are interested in, and then clicking 'Submit Multi Application', you will be shown a page detailing each job and area you have selected. Clicking submit will then send your details to all the jobs at the same time.

What happens if I forget my password?
If you forget your password we will issue you another password that you can personalise once you have logged into your homepage.

What does 'Expired Vacancy' mean?
'Expired Vacancy' appears when you request further information on a job that has been removed from the site.

What's the quickest way to apply for a job?
Choose the Area of Law and Desired Location of the job you are looking for and click the 'Go' button. In the search results, click on the title of any job to see the full description and details of the vacancy.
If you want to apply for the job, click the 'Apply' link below the Contact details for the vacancy. Enter your details in the 'Vacancy Application' form and click the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of the form.

What is a job basket?
The job basket allows you to save details of all the jobs you are interested in. You can then view them at a later date. This option also offers a multi application facility so you can apply to more than one job using the same details for each vacancy.

What is the 'Tell a Friend' option?
For each vacancy there will be a link called 'Tell a Friend'. The 'Tell a Friend' page will allow you to forward the vacancy by email onto another person and for you to attach a personal message. All details submitted on this page are not saved and will not be used by us or disclosed to any other third party.

Can I check what I have applied for?
Yes, but you will need to be a registered candidate. On the candidate homepage is a link called 'Jobs Applied For'. Clicking on this link will take you to a page detailing the job and the date you applied.

How do I unsubscribe?
You can unsubscribe from lawrecruiter by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link on your candidate homepage.

How can I change the details within my candidate account?
When you are in your homepage there is a link that will take you to 'Amend Details' where you can enter new or additional information and update your details.

My CV has changed content, what do I do?
On the candidate homepage there is a link called 'Manage Stored Documents'. Here you will be able to view and delete your stored documents as appropriate.

How does location work?
To choose the area you wish to search, use the 'Desired Location' drop-down list to choose the desired region. When you have made your selection, click the 'Go' button.
The page will reload with vacancies only in the region you have specified. To search in a smaller area, choose a county from the 'Choose County' drop-down list, and click 'Go'
You can narrow your search to an even smaller area by choosing a town from the 'Desired Town' drop-down list and clicking 'Go' once more.
If you wish to broaden your town search, you can choose to search within a certain number of miles from the town by choosing the 'Miles From Town' drop-down list and clicking 'Go'
If at any time you wish to start searching again from another location, click the 'Reset Location' button, which will start your location search from the beginning.

How does auto-login work?
